Presenting our this season’s Koorainadu handloom sarees in silk cotton with a new design. Threads of silk and cotton handwoven in a ratio of 2:1 form the warp and 3:5 form the weft. This drape so intricately woven to precision over 6-7 days. Miniscule checks/kattams run across the body of this silk cotton saree, in contrasting colours of black and white. Due to the dual nature of the colours and yarn, the saree has a double-shade appearance. The border is a 5 cm passage, in between two lines of shocking pink colour. Vertical lines of white run over the border. The pallu has lines in contrast colours of white that form the tail. Seamlessly differentiated through subtlety – reminiscing a timeless tradition.
The attached blouse is not available on this saree.
